Work it Out can help people with intellectual disabilities understand and tackle discrimination when looking for a job and at work.
We have produced some tools to help people with intellectual disabilities, those who support them, and legal experts. These tools are on this website and can be used to help people to understand and achieve their rights.
Work it Out is a partnership project involving organisations from Denmark, Ireland, Lithuania and Scotland.
Work it Out is a project that aims to help people with intellectual disabilities understand and tackle discrimination when looking for a job and at work. It looks at the European Framework Employment Directive and how this is used in different countries to make sure people with intellectual disabilities have equal rights.
The project was co-ordinated by LEV in Denmark and the other partners are KARE in Ireland, VILTIS in Lithuania and ENABLE Scotland.
The aim of the project was to produce some tools to help people with intellectual disabilities, those who support them, and legal experts in each of these countries. The tools can also be adapted and used by people working in other European countries.
